Anchor/Reporter-Multimedia Journalist

About Rayvin Bleu

Rayvin Bleu is a driven journalist and storyteller dedicated to reporting with depth, integrity, and community impact. In May 2025, she brought her talents to FOX61/CW20 in Hartford, Connecticut as a Multiskilled Journalist, where she has covered major breaking news, including the Brass Mill Center shooting, as well as meaningful community events such as the unveiling of a new veterans memorial.

Before joining the FOX61/CW20 team, Rayvin spent three years as an Anchor and Multimedia Journalist in Saginaw, Michigan, where she covered major breaking news including a train derailment, severe weather events, and developing stories across the Mid-Michigan region. Just three months after arriving at the station, she stepped into the Weekend Evening Anchor role—quickly making the position her own. During her tenure, Rayvin broke significant stories, including the sudden death of Flint City Councilman Eric Mays and former President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential election.

A Miami native and daughter of a Haitian immigrant, Rayvin is a graduate of Hofstra University, where she earned a master’s degree in journalism. She began her career in New York City as a news assistant before transitioning to on-air reporting in early 2020, covering New York’s Hudson Valley.

Throughout her career, Rayvin has contributed to daily newscasts and produced stories that have resonated nationwide. Most notably, her reporting on the death of Army veteran Everett Palmer Jr. in a York County jail went viral after his family learned key organs were missing when his body was returned from the medical examiner’s office. She also credits her early professional growth to her breaking news coverage of the July 2019 Manhattan blackout, where she covered the cancellation of Jennifer Lopez’s Madison Square Garden concert.

A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Rayvin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring local restaurants, shopping, and walking her Pomeranian, Na’Vi Fancee Bleu.

Rayvin is passionate about storytelling and remains committed to delivering impactful journalism that informs and serves the community.
